An Exciting Jobs Opportunity in Oxfam to deliver of change in the new State of South Sudan We are looking for a bright, dynamic and experienced individual who will be able to provide leadership and support to our large humanitarian programme. Based in Juba, South Sudan, the role will involve extensive travel, sometimes under difficult circumstances.
Humanitarian Programme Coordinator
GBP. £25,094 - £33,938 net per annum + 4,000 net per annum hard to work and other substantial benefits; 1 year fixed term contract; unaccompanied Reporting to the Country Director, as Humanitarian Program Co-coordinator you will have a co-ordination and advisory role to design and lead high quality humanitarian programs in a complex context and to take the lead on strategic development of the on-going humanitarian program in Upper Nile, among other things. More specifically you role will involve maintaining an analysis of the humanitarian context and use this to inform interventions. You will develop mechanisms to monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian program; work with team members to link humanitarian program to other programming, including advocacy an livelihoods; contribute to Oxfam’s strategic change program with a focus on humanitarian response, preparedness and protection; represent Oxfam in appropriate humanitarian fora at local and international level and support media and communication work. You will recruit and line manage humanitarian program staff and ensure that Oxfam’s program is cost effective, efficient and complies with all organisational standards of management and accountability. 
To be able to effectively do this work, you will have substantial experience in a similar role. You do not necessarily have a particular technical background, but you do understand what kind of technical support you need to mobilize to ensure high quality programs and be able to organize it. In particular, you will be conscious of the need to consider issues like gender and protection in programming, and be able to take into
account the long-term impacts of the work we do. 
You will have experience of working in insecure environments, and be able to support the team to make judgement about security. Your capacity to understand the bigger picture will be unquestionable as well as your analytical and conceptual skills. Strong people management skills and experience will be essential; also essential will be excellent communication and representation skills, demonstrable project cycle management experience, and good monitoring & evaluation skills.
